Not Quiting But Switching It Up For A While.

To anyone who may read this hub or has read my hubs in the past I am changing my tone and subject matter up to keep from getting too negative. I enjoy a good debate and I am finding political subject matters very debatable, too debatable actually. Text words on a screen are often too vague to tell if they are argumentative or just an opinion you hope others share with you. This country has always fostered passionate political debate between its citizens but I realize I am not a political pundit and have no desire to become one. Whether it is an election year or not I feel the debating and arguing just wont stop.

I get very passionate about my opinions and often times while writing them down I feel the need to censor myself and filter my opinion for fear of upsetting others who have no intention of accepting other points of view into consideration. So in order to keep my sanity and frustration to a normal healthy level I will just not write about politics anymore. There are plenty of Hub writers that have serious opinions and insightful points of view but there are plenty of them. Adding to the mix will only serve my soap box fixation I don't believe it will do any good.

My passions lie with teaching and helping others achieve their goals, not broken party values or government ineptitude. Even if we don't agree on the who or why the fact is we all agree on the what; the political system in America is saturated with self serving a**holes who don't realize they are representative of the people in this country, not the guides. The people for the most part in this country don't realize that an elected official is supposed to pass on their opinions and points of view so that our voices are heard. Smaller government is a slick code phrase for less power to the people and it is crazy in my opinion.

So like I said my passion lies in helping others and I realize politics is no way to do that. I do however realize that ideas and actions can help people and that is what I will focus on for all my future hubs. I am extremely good at coming up with practical solutions to common and unique problems so I will write about that. I am currently working on a solution that will help average Americans with a little creativity and a lot of support earn some extra money while doing what they love to do. I am in the developmental stage at the moment, all the research needed to start has been finished and now I know this idea of mine isn't a hopeful maybe but an actual solution to a current problem.

In my professional life as well as in my personal life I am unable to do great work solely for my own benefit. My close friends tell me I have a Mother Teressa complex but I just thank my parents and the ARMY for solidifying my natural "do the morally right thing" personality. I am not ignorant to the fact that not very many people share my point of view of helping others "just because I can". However unique or rare that may be I have Hubpages and this awesome community of writers to thank for inspiring me to embrace that quality in myself. Nowhere else on the internet or in life have I witnessed a community of so many differing points of views and personalities help and encourage one another. The fact that all of you can forget about your differences and help one another pursue your passions truly inspires me and gives me faith that our country has the capacity to be adults.

So Hubpages and fellow Hubbers I will continue to develop my inspired idea and when I am able to reveal more details I will exclusively through Hubpages. This community of wonderful people I believe deserves to be the first to know what I have in the works. Even though I have been absent for about a year I came back to find the exact same friendly and open attitude from all of you as when I left (due to the password incident which I wont mention again:). So stay tuned fellow Hubbers I feel like you will appreciate and enjoy the news to come. I am after all doing this not only for my friends and family but for everyone I haven't met yet that deserves a chance and because of your support and respect. Keep Hubbing and keep being the shining example of what a community is supposed to be!
